Our Growing Family

Well.  We have news.

Actual news, not like the time I considered cancelling cable news.

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re adding a new member to our family, expected to arrive in March!

While this little addition, wasn’t exactly planned, we are over the moon.  I’m one of three kids in my family, and Keith one of four, so it was always known that we were hoping to have at least three.

What a difference this pregnancy has been from the start.  I pretty much knew I was pregnant a few weeks in, after I immediately was unable to button my pants.  Apparently by your third kid, your uterus is just waiting to expand to full term.  Nice, right?

The first trimester has been exhausting, but nothing compared to being pregnant with twins, so I can’t exactly complain.  I’ve spent the last three months avoiding most foods, taking lots of “breaks” throughout the day, and going to bed super early.  Luckily, the kids have taken it easy on me, and Keith has been super helpful.

Hoping these next six or seven months go smoothly and allow us a little time to enjoy the last bit of time as a family of four (six, counting our favorite furry loves), before chaos ensues.

A couple bloopers 🙂
