Weekly Portrait of My Children 37/52

a weekly portrait of my children, every week, in 2017.

week thirty-seven // scout: has finally started wearing shorts instead of dresses (just in time for the end of summer), claims she’s going to stay home with me forever (woohoo!), and is sweet as pie.

week thirty-seven // griffin: loves making Marlowe laugh, can devour an entire pb&j sandwich quickly, and has started sleeping in his big bed at night 🙂

week thirty-seven // marlowe: is going through a crazy growth spurt, can sit up (without help for three-ish minutes), and has the most delicious thighs ever.

week thirty-six // griffin: loves asking why, insists on wearing socks with crocs, and still loves to snuggle.

week thirty-six // marlowe: has two teeth popping through, says “eh!” when trying to get your attention, and has started solids!

week thirty-five // scout: has cursed twice (properly) to finish my sentence for me, really enjoys holding Marlowe, and likes a bed full of stuffed animals.

week thirty-five // griffin: is back to watching christmas movies in august (clearly my child), likes to ask for something, then say “right now” until you give it to him, and has become obsessed with legos within the last week or so.

week thirty-five // marlowe: likes to stay up late (r than her brother and sister) and smile, yell, and giggle loudly, is not interested in cereal at all, and still refuses to take a bottle.

week thirty-four // scout: turned 3 (!!!) on Friday, freely climbs in and out of her bed whenever she feels like it, and says things like “i’m just a little nervous,” making us laugh like crazy.

week thirty-four // griffin: turned 3 (!!!) on Friday, can ride a scooter like no one’s business, and enjoys telling scout what she can and cannot do.

week thirty-four// marlowe: does the most amazing duck face when you unswaddle her in the morning, loves laughing at Scout and Griffin when they laugh (or cry), and is a drooling machine.
