Weekly Portrait of My Children 14/52

a weekly portrait of my children, every week, in 2017.

week fourteen // scout: likes holding her new sister, has started nursing monkey, and loves a nice pair of flip flops (like her mama).

week fourteen // griffin: loved coming to visit the “hopsital,” is on a naughty talking back streak, and doesn’t quite realize what’s going on.

week fourteen // marlowe: weighs 6 lbs 14 ounces, has the most perfect little round head i’ve ever seen, and barely fits into newborn clothes.

week thirteen // scout: says “you okay, mama?” anytime I so much as sniffle (maybe I’ve been a little emotional lately, so what?!?), loves leon bridges as much as her mama, and has started really investing herself as her stuffed monkey’s mama.

week thirteen // griffin: has started demanding things, “yet me have!”, loves to snuggle, and is still waking up at 4:30am every single day.

week twelve // scout: claims that she has a monkey in her belly that kicks all the time, is really good at sharing, and likes to pretend she’s chewing gum all of the time.

week twelve // griffin: says “you okay?” to all of us all of the time, can’t help but pull every tissue out of every tissue box in our house, and loves playing with scouty and telling everyone about it.
