week fifty-two// scout: is still in love with the beach (warm enough for a visit on Christmas Eve!), has started making a horribly sassy face when she doesn’t like something, or when a stranger looks at her, and

week fifty-two// griffin: loves baths, stealing toys from his sister, and is starting to really enjoy the dogs (not sure that the feeling is completely mutual).

week fifty-one// scout: got a backpack for christmas and hasn’t taken it off yet, is obsessed with the hippos at the aquarium, and has proven to be pretty independent at the ripe age of 16 months.

week fifty-one// griffin: also loves his new backpack, has added to the list of things that make him slightly uncomfortable (kids with face painting, bruiser the stuffed bulldog, hippos), and can find the only bird in the sky in a 10 mile radius.

week fifty// scout:  has an unhealthy obsession with the hello song (that we learned in music class 9 months ago), loves candy, and waves to everyone (animals included).

week fifty// griffin:  is going through a bit of a sensitive phase (crying when strangers look at him- completely normal), points at everything, and eats raspberries a pint at a time.

week forty-nine// scout: shakes her head and says “no” in the most ridiculously sweet voice to everything, refusing to keep anything in her hair, and sometimes gets really excited and gives big kisses without even realizing it.

week forty-nine// griffin:  spends any and every time outside looking for birds, pointing, then yelling “bawd,” still loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and is obsessed with christmas lights.
