Freshly Picked {review}

Our lovely friends over at Freshly Picked, were kind enough to send a pair of their amazing moccasins over for both Scout and Griffin, as well as giveaway a pair to one of our lucky readers back in March.

We have nothing but great things to say about this company.  Not only do they make an awesome product, they are the absolute nicest people to interact with.  I had the pleasure of chatting with Rachel, FP’s collaboration manager, who graciously made sure both of the babies had a pair of moccs, so no one felt left out. She also helped with sizing and our giveaway.  She’s the best!

Our first choice for Scout was the heirloom gold pair, but unfortunately, they were sold out (with good reason.  have you seen how cute they are?!), so we opted for the solid gold pair instead.  For Griffin, it was a toss up between the Stone Suede and Swimmin’ with the Sharks, but we figured the suede would probably get dirty quicker, so we went with Swimmin’ with the Sharks.

These are the best little shoes ever.  Ever, ever.  They are so soft, well made, and they actually stay on, which is huge.  Oh, and did I mention ( a million times) how stinking cute they are?  They go on with zero hassle, thanks to the elastic bands, and the babies hardly even notice that they’re wearing shoes, again, huge.  If you’re debating splurging on these little moccasins, do it, you won’t be sorry.  We’ll definitely be ordering multiple pairs from Freshly Picked once Scout and Griffin outgrow these!

scouty and griffo pool

week twenty-two// scout: is clapping, took her first few crawling “steps,” and  loves to eat and drink from her sippy cup.

week twenty-two// griffin: pulls up on EVERYTHING, cruises along furniture (all while trying to chew it), and say hello (heywo) in the cutest possible voice.

Life Lately

Holy cow, I can’t believe we’re halfway through spring!  Where has the time gone?  We’ve had so little time to blog, and even less time for anything else these days.  Updates coming soon 🙂  Until then, here’s what life looks  like in the Lex house lately!

week twenty-one// scout: is smiling and laughing  all the time (mostly at da-da), loves the kiddie pool, and is an eating machine.

week twenty-one// griffin: spends the majority of “nap time,” standing in his crib banging on the rails, babbles up a storm, and is getting the hang of crawling.
